UNIT VALUE (Graph)

Objective

The unit-linked policy has been designed to offer policyholders higher returns on investment and long-term capital growth by linking the value of the policy directly to units in a unitized fund (The General Portfolio) run by Albatross. After deduction of charges, premiums are invested in the General Portfolio which is a balanced fund of investments.

Portfolio breakdown

At 31st March 2007, the fund was invested in local equities (20%), foreign equities (7%), treasury bills and government bonds (50%) local deposits (5%) and foreign deposits (18%).
