(I) Medical Emergency Assistance                        LOCALLY / ABROAD

  • Medical Referrals to physicians, hospitals and clinics.
  • Despatch of a Doctor on the spot*. (To be paid by Client)
  • Medical case monitoring on real time basis during hospitalisation. AXA AOI organises your admission in the hospital and guarantee the medical expenses according to your limits.
  • Ambulance Service.
    During your hospitalisation or depending on the emergency (accident/illness) you need an ambulance, AXA AOI organises the service and guarantees the payments according to your limits.

(II) Medical Emergency Assistance                                            ABROAD

  • Medical repatriation to place of residence.
    During your hospitalisation, you need to be repatriated to your place of residence, AXA AOI organises the service and guarantees the payments according to your limits.
  • Despatch of necessary medicines & transfer of lost or forgotten prescriptions. * (To be paid by Client)
  • Replacement of broken, lost or stolen glasses*. (To be paid by Client)

* AXA AOI provides the service while the beneficiaries pay for the related medical expenses and  later claim reimbursement from Albatross, according to their limits.

(III) Personal Assistance                                                              ABROAD

  • Pre-travel information (Visa/passport requirements, inoculation requirements, etc).
  • Information on customs and duty regulations.
  • Interpretation services.
  • Embassy & Consulate referrals.

(IV) Travel Oriented Assistance Service                                  ABROAD

  • Relay of urgent messages in case of hospitalisation.
  • Lost luggage assistance.
  • Assistance for return trip cash advance : Up to euro 1,000.-

In case of loss or theft of the credit card, or identity papers necessary to return home, AXA AOI shall provide assistance in replacing them. (With the authorisation for being reimbursed by the beneficiary within 2 weeks after incident).

  • Legal Assistance
    Advance of legal fees up to euro 2,000.-
    Advance of bailbond up to euro 2,500.-
  • Cultural Information
    Information on local special events, attractions and entertainment venues and events.
  • Reservation
    Reservation assistance for restaurants, theatres, concerts special events and hotels.
  • Ticketing
    Assistance with the purchase of tickets for theatre, concerts and sporting events.
  • Business
    Arrangements for business related services such as secretarial help and/or translation services, conference facilities, fax machine rental, mobile phone rental etc.

AXA shall endeavour to provide these services to meet the Client's wishes and expectations. AXA cannot however guarantee that the Client's request for bookings and reservations shall be fulfilled, since AXA have no control over the availability of seats, tables and/or rooms.

The actual cost of the service and/or booking shall be borne by the Client in addition to any delivery, insurance and/or cancellation fees; any cost or fee may be charged by the actual service provider and/or by AXA to the Client's account, subject to authorisation by issuer.
